On the 8th July some the neutral bar of the transformer supplying power to my house. This caused the supplied power to be 320V instead of 220V, this resulted in a number of my household content to be damaged. When I phoned to find out if I could register a claim, the immediate reply was NO. But if it was struck by lightening then you would be covered. To me damage is damage is damage. I am sitting without essential household equipment. It is now two weeks later and still no claim lodged or resolve for me.
What insurance company is worthwhile going to. I have never in all my time being insurance struggled like this. NO claim has ever been refused except this one. I AM TOTALLY DISGUSTED WITH SANTAM
A future ex customer.
