First National Bank
Appalling Service

I have had the most disappointing service. I applied on the 15 July 2013 at the FNB branch in Springs who then referred me directly to the telephonic application system. I spoke to a Ntswaki Rakwena who told me what documents I would need to finalise my application. On the16 July 2013, I sent all my documents through and was told that Monique Billings would handle my loan. I was sent my contract to sign which I did and emailed back to Monique requesting that she confirm that she received my documents. On 17 July 2013 at about 13:30 I phoned the call centre to speak to Monique as I had not heard anything back from her in regards to my documents having being received. I was then told she would phone me back. At about 14:10 I got a call from Monique saying that the Employment confirmations department was unable to confirm my employment and that I need to send a letter on the company letterhead stating that the contact number for the company had changed - Which I did almost immediately. This was a concern as how can I sign a contract without my employment having being confirmed? On 18 July 2013 I was told my application was denied due to not confirming employment yet it is in process.
