Once again I have received pathetic and unacceptable service from Standard Bank. No surprise as am yet to receive a response to my 1st complaint however there response indicates they will be in contact me within 48 hrs. With regard to Standard Bank I have become accustomed to pathetic service. This time it is with regard to my second credit card application where a consultant contacted me in order to get my details and inform me of the progress of the application. After informing him of all the details he said he would investigate on my behalf and call me right back. He informed me there was no need for a ref number because he would get right back to me. 2 days later I have received no response from him. Calling into the call centre was just a useless. I spoke to a lady who informed me there was no way to trace who had spoken to me without a reference number as they don't make notes or anything when speaking to a client. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC.
