Standard Bank
Violating Access to my information

Standard Bank debited an amount of R9970 from my saving account without notifying me. I have a vehicle account for the vehicle (BMW) which was repossessed during the 2008/9 recession. I also defaulted a number of times to pay the required installments for the balance owed becuase of lack of funds. as a result i took a loan to pay my children school fees for 2013 last week with African bank and becuase they have access to my bank info, they took an amount of R9970 without telling me. I called the to explain that the funds were meant for school fees and they refused to refund the amount and also refuse me to make new arrangement to pay the loan. Strangely the lady who helped me (Leanna Paulson) told me becuase i defaulted, i no longer have a contract with them and cannot make new arrangement but she could not answer me when i asked her why they able to willy nilly go into my savings account and debit R9970 if our contract was nullified, she could not answer me. I get paid on the 20th of each month and they have never forced debited my salary and i reuquest them to refund the money and we make new arrangements.
Access to my information needs to be respected by banks.
