In the hail storm that happened in November 2012, amongst other things, a window was broken and the gutters were bent. Although this was initially reported, I am still waiting for a resolution. Other damage has been sorted, but the gutters have been outstanding for a number of months. It is now 16/07/2013 and apparently ABSA is now waiting for photos of my gutters. I am often promised a call, but the only feedback I receive is when I call the call centre. The broken window's amount should be refunded, but I cannot sign the document that will allow processing of the payment as the wording reads "I/ We accept the foregoing amount in full and final settlement of my/ our claim", so clearly the gutters will then no longer receive any attention.
