I phoned the home loans claim centre to lodge a claim for storm damage. The assesor came to my home and told me that the ceiling will be replaced and the walls and ceeiling will be repainted. The day the contractors (Salle Construction) came to my home, they said that they were only told to paint. I phone the contractor's office, they said that the assesor never mentioned that the ceiling needs replacing. After the contractor's painted the room and ceiling, I saw that there were spots that they didn;t paint. There was paint on my couch and on the skirtings. I phoned them, they came out yesterday to paint again, and they missed the exact same spots again! I took photos of this, They even damaged my blinds. I phoned the claims department again this morning, but I was put through to 4 different people after explaining my story to each of them. None of the people were interested in helping me, they would rather just put my though to someone else.
