I applied to Standard Bank Customer Assist on the 21 May 2013. All the documents were emailed. I was told that it takes between 10-15 working days to get an answer. I've called numerous times to the call centre and everytime it's a different story, experiencing backlogs, its with a manager and they will call u back. Its very frustrating because I thought that this would be settled already as I am in desperate need of assistance. I even emailed twice or thrice. Phoned as advised by Shane on Friday 31 May. He advised that application was successful and it should only be allocated to a manager to see how much will be given to me. Phoned on Wed 05 June and was told that it would take 15 working days to be approved. But could be more because they're exp high volume of applications. Should call back in 2 weeks again or otherwise someone will call me. Phoned Shane on Friday, 7th June and he advised that the application should be allocated to a manager on Monday. If they don't call me by Monday, I should give them a call on Tuesday. Emailed on 11 June. Phoned on the Friday 14 June and was told that application is still pending manager's allocation. Was told its been allocated to a manager.
