Money withdrawn from bank account

On Monday morning the 24th June while enroute to work, my phone notified me of money being withdrawn from my bank account way above my set daily limit.
as soon as I got to town I went to the bank to check what happened and they could not even confirm where the money was withdrawn and how can someone withdraw more than my daily limit.
there is no effective communication of their investigation and everytime I go to the bank they tell me they are still busy with the investigation.
its been 3 weeks now without a trace of what happened or my money being refunded or an explanation of what could have happened. I believe a limit is set with a bank to avoid such crimes happening in extreme but now it was beyond my daily limit.
I don't know how do they think I am travelling to work; feeding myself and my family, and running my daily errands.
I am so disappointed in such a service where I am suppose to be secured that my money is safe when its in a bank.
