Standard Bank is definitely the bank with the worst customer service. Everything takes 3 to 5 working days. Today I asked for statements on my account for the last 12 months to be e-mailed.. I needed them urgently. They gladly advised me that it can be done, however it will cost R20 per page and it will take 3-5 days. How do they justify charging R20 per page for a e-mail?? So when I asked the call center agent Albert Moloi, he told me they must retrieve it from a file. Does this means that every client has got a file and they print a statement and file it, only a will believe that! It just shows you the level of person that we have to deal with. I have moved my account from ABSA to STD based on their promises. Their service really and it was the biggest mistake ever!!
It seems standard bank outsource their call centre, and they forgot to train the staff!!
Stay away from Standard bank, they are the worst bank in SA!!!
