Very Poor Claims Experience

I had an accident on the 11/12/2012. The claim was registered with Miway the same day and I was requested to send through documentation which I did the following day. I was told that the assessors report would be back with the claims department by 14/12/2012 and I would get feedback with regards to the authoristion of my claim. I never heard from Miway again during December. On the 3rd of January I contacted the insurance to locate my car. I was told that the vehicle is standing at Danmar West Rand. I got the contact number for he panelbeater on the Internet and contacted them. They confirmed that the vehicle was there but they had not yet received authorization from the insurance to repair the vehicle so nothing had been done to the vehicle for close to a month. I then contacted Miway once more and advised them of this. They the immediately sent the authorisation to the panelbeater. I don't understand why I had to phone Miway to remind them to send something they should have done in te first place. This is costing me alot of money and is very inconvenient. I would not recommend Miway to any other person. I know I will never take insurance with them again.
