On 16/5/2013 I was involved in an accident with an insured of Alexander Forbes. I went to my insurance company - Outsurance and was told according to their assessor my car was old and too badly damaged (R12 000) and would have to be written off. and I would lose my no claim bonus. I then decided to approach Alexander Forbes and ask them to pay for the damage. I wrote to the claims department and got a reply and a request for documentation which i duly submitted. The insured person told me to submit to Tevin and Kelly Kichenbrand. I received an SMS telling me to contact Tevin or Kelly by phone which I tried to do on at least four occasions. Tevin is never at his desk and I rang off after 3 minutes. After numerous e-mails requesting a response from Tevin I am still waiting. I have reduced the claim to R7000.
