Funeral cover problem

I changed my banking details a long time ago, and someone from Absa called me to confirm the new banking details and the money for the policy is not taken from this account, when I called them several times they tell me the problem is with the IT department, I shouldn't worry if any thing happens they will pay out any claim but my problem now no one is telling me of any progress on fixing this matter, its been almost a year now.
