I had an attempted break-in in mid-December. The pre-cast wall between myself and the neighbour was broken. I laid a claim for damage to the wall. I told the assessor I believed it was a break in but there was a possibility the wall had fallen. I never heard from Standard Bank again. My security was compromised while I waited for a response. On 2 January, I phoned twice, waiting over 17 minutes each time only to be transferred and cut off after 30 minutes. The second time Felicity promised Marvin Shezi, the manager. would call me if we got cut off. On 11 January, I spoke to Priscilla, who created a complaint ref 31514029, and promised a response within 3 days. On 18 January I spoke to Rosalyn, who attempted to put me through to Thomas Mahlaba, but I was cut off again. I called again and spoke to Felicity, who again assured me that Marvin Shezi would call me. I am still awaiting a call.
