4 months ago. I had a claim with standard bank insurance. It took me complaining to hellopeter to get the any action on my gate motor and gate.
Today the gate guy comes and tells me that he is going to mount the gate on the wall. Which he says in his opinion will break it again.
When I talk to Standard bank they tell me that he must go ahead and do it even though it will break the wall and result in me making another claim on them.
The reason being the policy states this is the only option. So standard bank are not willing to deviate from their policy to save themselves money they prefer to continue paying out claims. Definitely not inline with their advertising promise of.
