After the shocking lack of service I received from First for Women, I was hopeful that Dial Direct would do better, especially since so many of my colleagues had highly recommended them.

As it turns out I was mistaken, after receiving such great initial service from Brian Williams and feeling assured that I had finally found an honest and reliable provider, my optimism was very quickly crushed after being passed from hand to hand in the refunds department.

Apparently it is completely acceptable for a service provider to debit your account with unsolicited charges. It also appears to be perfectly fine to only offer a small refund and continue to debit said account with unsolicited debits, even after numerous calls and emails.

Why not just tell me to stick it up and give you all my money? It seems Dial Direct is more than happy to take your hard earned cash, but forget about asking for it back. Ask for a refund and you just get passed from one hand to the next and wait 7-14 days for them to figure things out. Pathetic!

Section 7 of the CPA clearly highlights the consumer's right to refuse prohibited transactions, agreements, and terms or conditions. I suggest you read it!
