Absolutely Dismal Way Of Handling Things

My wife and a friend opened a business account for their little tuition business some time back which was hardly used. They had stopped tuition for a while and the bank account was sort of forgotten, though they did mean to close it. Just the other day my wife received an email from some attorneys stating that there is a balance due to FNB and that the attorneys need be contacted to settle the debt and that legal fees etc. Will be charged accordingly. This is absolutely ridiculous, no sms's, email's, postal notices or any form of communication was ever received from FNB asking that the account be looked at and the balance settled. It was merely just handed over. Had the communication been received, the account would have been paid immediately and terminated. In the past I have reffered many friends and family to FNB for various reasons. This will surely change and the matter be taken further should this not be resolved promptly and effectively to our satisfaction.
