Hi, I am disgusted at the pathetic service I received from Outsurance. My vehicle was in an accident, I took it to a company, that has done work for me previously, for a quotation. I had to leave the car there so that they could strip it down and quote me accordingly. The quote I got from them was R70k. The next day, i took it to an outsurance assessor who looked at the car for 10min and took photos.
Outsurance told me that I can only take the car to one of their approved panelbeaters which had me extremely worried because i wasnt familiar with any of their quality of work etc. I dont like just anyone working on my car. Every detail has to be considered! 2 days later, I got a call from outsurance saying that the quote for my car came to 17k! At this point I had ABSOLUTELY no confidence in outsurance doing the work clearly because of the price difference. I sent my quote to them and they responded 2 days later saying that i was over quoted! The assessor, who looked at my car for 10min, is telling me that the company who stripped down my car and took every detail into account overquoted!
I have been paying R500 extra a month for with them for this!!! Reconsidering THEM now!!!
