I have recently been out of work and only started working last month the 07 May 2013.
I called Nedbank with whom I have had a personal loan with to make an arrangement. Obviously my loan has been in arrears but I expplained to them that I have been out of work for four months and i am a single mother of 3 and the only amount I can afford at the moment is a R200 as I have other things to pay as well and the salary i am getting now is not the same that I used to get. Then I see that a R200 was deducted which is fine, but then they go and deduct a further R666.00 as well so in total a R800 and odd rand from my account. I went to the bank to get the R666.00 reversed because I cannot afford for both the R666.00 and the R200.00 to go off and they tell me SORRY this cannot be done???
Why then bother to make an arrangement if you are going to deduct what you want at the end of the month anyway!
