I am unable to do any transactions on internet banking and keep getting the error 'NOT IDENTIFIED AND VERIFIED'. I went into the bank and was told it was a FICA issue although all my documents were produced when I took out a credit card a few months earlier. I produced proof of address and was told that I need to produce a marriage certificate so that my title could be changed from MS to MRS although my maiden surname did not change. I went all the way home and returned with the certificate. Upon producing it I was told that I would be able to transact on internet banking again.

A week later, ABSA smses me to tell me that if I do not come in with my FICA documents, I would be locked out again. I returned to the bank the next weekend to discover that the lady did not send my documents off to FICA and I would have to reproduce my documents. Upon reproducing them, I was assured I would be able to transact on internet banking. LO and BEHOLD, I am unable to transact on internet banking AGAIN!

This is RIDICULOUS. I have a 4 month old at home and have had to arrange someone to watch him every weekend while I go in to sort out the same issue over and over again. Your service is pathetic
