I paid my account on the 20th June and made payment special clearance for the payment to reflect into their account. I mailed them the confirmation as well for the payment on the very same day. I checked on my online account to confirm if my account has been cleared of the owing balances and it was cleared and no owing amounts due. This morning morning Wonga debited my account again for the paid/settled account! I called & spoke to consultant who advised me that it would be picked up by their depts & refund will be processed & I should follow up after 12pm. I have just called them and spoke to ASHLEY, who was very cheeky & raised his voice at me while speaking to me. I asked him for his surname as to keep reference of the call and he advised me that he is the only ASHLEY that works for Wonga. I continued to confirm as to whether indeed they have picked up the double payment and when I would expect my refund & he advised process has been done & would take 24-48hrs for refund. I asked for his team leader AMY, whom he said isnt available & that he would forward my number to her to call me back. Didnt appreciate ASHLEY'S ATTITUDE during the call as he was cheeky and arrogant!!!
