I had to phone a few places I made payments to, just to hear that they never received any proof of payment from ABSA, the one supplier even acknowledged that there is a problem with ABSA. I tested it and made a payment and sent myself a notice of payment via e-mail, but I still have not received it. This is unacceptable from ABSA, at least put up a notice on the website to inform us of this problem. Suppliers rely on receiving proof of a payment and in my case I can't receive what I paid for due to ABSA's incompetence. Customer services also couldn't help me and dropped my call.
