As I mentioned last year. Those who joined Multiply from their inception were promised lifetime gym contracts at no cost. Multiply then reneged on this promise and found loopholes to take it away or pay!
Their reason: we cannot sustain the loss, or we would need to close Multiply. ( Thats what they should have done)
Come this year, they are obviously still running at a major loss so have moved the goalposts again, by reducing the points we earn. Most have been cut by 50% and more. In fact the most points you can earn is for 'financial fitness' - is this a joke. I'm sure that helps keep you fit.
The only way that you can attain 'Private Club' status is to pay for most check ups!
They remove Budget as a Benefit and introduce Avis, why, because there is no benefit. I went online to book a rental through my Multiply discount of 40% the cost is R209 per day. I went directly on the Avis webpage and my daily cost is R213. Save R4 with Multiply. What 40%? With Budget, the same car cost me R55 per day.
But as usual it was costing Multiply too much.
They can sponsor the Proteas who are doing very little, but they cannot take care of their clients.
