Poor Service Delivery from Sanlam

My dad had a pension policy with Sanlam with payouts if he had passed on. My dad passed away in January and all the necessary documentation was submitted in March. To date the claim has not been paid. The poor service from Sanlam is totally unacceptable. I have had my broker communicate with them nearly every week and every week there is an excuse from them. I also phoned them and was told they only have one individual assisting with claims. No attempt was made to speed the process or even provide timeous feedback. The service is rather distasteful. Sanlam being a multinational company has really poor customer service ethhics with no regard to the customer, however when you engage with them regarding investments the promise you the world. I would definitely encourage individuals to really pay careful attention when selecting Sanlam as an investment resource.
