Charged exorbitant fees for merchant errors!!!

I am very unhappy with Nedbank at the moment and I am considering moving my account to another bank. This would be a pity as I have been with them for almost 15 years! I do not appreciate the fact that they made it seem like I was asking for the world, when in fact I was simply asking them to reverse 4 charges of R90 each on my account that I do not think I should be billed for. I recently opened a cheque account but I do not keep a lot of cash in there so sometimes I am not up to speed with the balance. This usually does not bother me because if the transaction does not go through I simply use another card and transfer more in there later. Last week I swiped my card on 4 different occasions not realizing there balance was low. The merchants were offline at the time so the transactions went through and when everything came back online Nedbank decided to charge me R90 a transaction (relatively small amounts) for honoring those even though it was not my mistake. I do not understand how this can be allowed to happen? Not happy at all and my complaint was not dealt with to my satisfactions as I am still out of pocket with R 360!!!
