I received a call two weeks ago regarding the outstanding debt I have with Finchoice, to my surprise they have not yet applied my life assurance policy cover since I was retrenched. The debt collector advised me that it only applies for six months but does not cover full debt which is inconsistent to what the agent from Finchoice advised me when I took the loan. I since requested transcript of the calls I made to Finchoice since I feel that they are being extortionist in my case as the agent advised me that should I get retrenched then they cover full amount for the loan. I am since to hear from them, I need to know what is going on so that I can take this matter with the relevant authorities.
