I have a personal loan with FIn choice according to my knowledge and the confirmation of my outstanding balance is R4700. in 2012 i have applied for debt review and within two months i cancelled my debt review because i was paying debt review and the creditors were still deducting the money. The debt review team send all my creditors letters informing them about my cancellation. only finchoice did not responded of update the matter on the system. i personally phone them and send the an e-mail regarding the matter. The call centre agent said they have make note on the system, the debt review team from finchoice will contact me soon cause they wont be able to transfer me to them. i was desperately trying to contact them and no one called back. Yesterday i receive an sms saying my account has been handed over and i must pay R 10324 within 48 hours. i don't dispute paying my outstanding balance of R4700 not the R10342. Please assist me.
