Pension withdrawal delay

I called SA Open the week before last week to find out the progress with my Pension fund withdrawal and was told that they are awaiting April contributions. Upon reporting this to my former employer I was told they would call and sort it out. They then said that I would be getting my money Friday (14 June 2013 or latest 17 June Monday- which I assumed meant Tuesday since Monday was a public holiday.) 19 June Wednesday, I called SA Open (spoke to Rinata) and again they are saying that they are waiting for April's contribution, or correct withdrawal date from HR department! I sent an email to SA Open and did not receive any reply, on 20 June I reported this to my former employer again and was told that the reason for the delay is that some people have filled the wrong information on their forms, and Sanlam is busy reconciling everybody's forms and I would be paid some time next week! Nobody can give a date!

Why should I suffer for people who filled the wrong forms? And why is Sanlam telling a different story to my former employer?
