FNB's advertising in line with what actually happe

I accompanied my brother Trevor Hill to get a phone on contract z10 as per the advertisng that it is easy and that he will save 34% ultimately, We spoke to Gift who was helpful and professional. My brothers Overdraft limit was R33600 and based on that could not allow him to get anymore credit according to the system, He then asked for a reduction to R20, 000, The contract is R5000 in total which means, his total limit will now be R25000.

He was told that they will get back to him because they have referred the matter to the credit department and it takes 48 hours, We were at the store on saturday, my brother is not always available because of the nature of his job and asked me to follow up. They have not contacted us once, we have to keep on calling like we are begging for the contract. I believe the service to be atrocious, How can you take so long where as the limit was higher than what is being requested now. What they advertise and what it is ultimately like is two seperate things. I will rather go to MTN, Vodacom or any other service provider if getting a phone from FNB is such a nightmare. I added my brothers id number instead of mine as he has the account with FNB
