After 4 months cannot help but took their money

I applied for debt counselling on the 7th February. I was contacted by Bernie from Debsafe and a repayment plan which came to /-R2277.00 pm was worked out. I agreed to this and my first payment went off on the 28 Feb 2013. After a while I wanted to know what was happening as I wasn't hearing anything and Anna-Marie Uren from ADCAP contacted me to say that she was my debt counsellor. Payments were taken every month but they have only started paying my creditors at the end of May. The previous months they took the money for their fees. According to the forms I received payments would start from the first month of when the application form is handed in. Now 4 months later they sent me a letter to inform me that they would not be able to help me unless I make a substantial increase in my repayments. My question is why did they not realise this the first time they worked out my repayments and debt. Surely they should have seen then that it would not be accepted as the debt was too high and the payments too low. They wait until their money is paid and then 4 months later come back to say this. I received no statements until I requested them. My name is now bad so where do I go from here
