I have an issue with the administrative process at standard bank. 2 years ago my current account was frozen as i had a negative balance. I had no job. I then paid off the negative balance and started to use my account again. This includes my interenet banking and bank cash withdrawels. Then a month ago my card expired and I went to get a new card. I went into a branch in scottburgh kzn. i was told no probs we are going to give you a new gold card and it would take 8 working days.

Then i moved to Cape Town a week later. I went into the branch at century city and asked if my card was ready. I was told that my card needs to be reinstated. I was highly annoyed as i rely on the consultants to guide me. The one in Scottburgh said everything was sorted. Now I am told its gonna take 2 weeks for reinstatement and then another week till i get my card!! There is definately an admin mess up on your side.. I just want my card.. how was i able to use my card for over a year if it needed to be reinstated???
