I had a policy with the company that I worked for, the policy was underwritten by Hollard insurance by then the funeral scheme was called Jubilee financial services, so when I resigned from the company in 2009, I called this insurance company to make an arrangement that the premiums should be deducted from my bank account and I spoke to a lady called Julia Meyer who requested that I e-mail her my banking details, I did so on the 02/09/2009.
She confirmed telephonically that she received the details. End of November when my account was not debited, I called her to find out why, she explained to me that since the money was deducted from my salary, it was paid in advance, so I should not worry because I am covered until end of December.
End of January 2010, realizing that my account is still not debited, I called her again, and she said that they have a bit of a backlog, they are still trying to sort out, and most of the calls I made to Julia were made from my landline and I believe they can be retrieved. One of the calls was made on the 9th of April, and she promised to call back, she never did. More information available
