Same day delivery policy

Phoned the card division to order a new credit card as i needed it asap! They advised that there is a fee attached to the same day delivery of R395.00. I confirmed this to be in order. When i phoned the following day to query the fact that i have not received any sms to advise that the card is at the relevant branch they have a new story that same day delivery is only applicable in the JHb area and due to the fact that i am in the coastal area (CT) it will take 2 -3 days. NOBODY explained this to me and i will defifintely not pay such a high fee for a delivery that is going to take more or less the same time as a normal delivery. They are now adamant that i must still pay the fee as the card now arrrived at the branch. To my knowledge according to the consumer protection act it is of the utmost importance that the corect information is given to the customer in order for the customer to make an informed decision. This was definitely NOT the case and I am for sure not going to pay that fee. ABSA can also keep the credit card as i am no longer interested in being a client of such an attitude.
