Mr Delivery accepts payment by credit card through its web site. However the procedure then requires that the credit card be available for the driver to imprint by scratching the surface with a pen onto the delivery note. This process is a problem for me as I have no assurance that my credit card number is secured in line with the provisions of the PCI standard.
I placed an order with Mr Delivery a few days ago, paid by credit card, but I did not allow the driver to take an imprint of my card. When I placed my order tonight I was informed that if I do not allow this, my order cannot be accepted. I am thus awaiting a refund but I am unhappy about this rule which violates my privacy and puts my financial records at risk.
