I applied for a loan at African Bank. then they complained about my payslip and statements etc. I sorted it all out and continued with the loan. i was approved for 9500 online and at the bank. Everything was done and ready and i was waiting for the payment. I then received a call saying the phone is busy and they cant do job confirmation and i have to send in a letter. so i sent a letter of confirmation. a few hours later i got a call saying they couldn't confirmation because the branch did not send the letter and my loan dropped from 9500 to 2500. if i re-apply it will not increase back to 9500. The branch manager is on leave and call center says i must call branch manager. so tell me what should i do? i have already signed everything and everything was done and ready so i cant understand what the job confirmation issue is at the moment. we have a switchboard with over 120 phones. its hard to believe no one answers. Since day one it felt like they didn't want to help me with their attitudes. Think its time to report to ombudsman. Regards
