Approved to be Declined with three further credit

Absolutely disappointed with FNB shocking customer service.

Firstly I applied online through my internet banking for a credit card to be be approved. After nothing occured I contacted FNB who stated it was being referred to another department. After more time passed I logged a hellopeter report as it was unacceptable. Got the usual standard reply on Hellopeter stating my complaint was logged with the bank. At this stage I was severely unimpressed with being ignored I did no longer wish to have a credit card from fnb so I applied with Woolworths who approved and the whole process took less than a week who communicated at each stage keeping me updated. After weeks of no reply FNB decided to run two new credit searches in my name and SMS me to say my application has been declined. I then got an email response stating due to my recent Woolworths credit, I was declined on that basis.

Had FNB treated me like a customer and not avoided me then I would never had gone elsewhere. What a joke! I am going to close all my accounts with FNB, after such POOR experience.
