My car which was comprehensively insured with Budget insurance was involved in an accident and claimed to be a write off. Not only that they also deducted a certain percentage which they termed a prejudice amount, according to them being the result of me not advising of the change of the regular driver which in actual fact had not changed. After months of of trying to get Budget to honour, they ultimately paid a certain portion of the outstanding balance to the financier, when claiming the difference of the outstanding amount from GRSA (car shortfall) they did not want to pay claiming some violations with the comprehensive insurance are the of reason of them not wanting to pay, which to my surprise were the same deductions made by Budget.
The question is how can GRSA refuse to pay the shortfall? The service has been shocking and the individuals I dealt with from both companies has made me feel like i'm not an important customer. GRSA did not even give me the option to appeal or inquire further on their decision, instead I was told that the case was closed. I am dissapointed and have lost all faith in insurance companies.
