I recently contacted Outsurance to enquire about vehicle insurance. The offer they gave me did not beat my current insurance premiums. I then enquired about their promotion, where they promise R400 if they cannot beat your current insurance premiums.
I was then told that I do not qualify for the R400 because I did not make mention of the promotion over the phone. Which was rather strange given that their terms and conditions do not state that I needed to make reference of the promotion.
Not surprising that Outsurance does not really bend over backwards, just another marketing gimmick.
