Dear Sir

Ipplied for a futhter bond on my home. This was done twice over the internet and once at the bank. The first bond was for R 100000. I was then told that it was to mush because I was over my 30 % aloud. My bond at present is R 409000. and when it is workrd out it is 26 % of my income. I told them that I am going to swtch bond to FNB and hanged up. Later I was phoned back and said that I could apply again and so I applied for R70000 . This was also declined. On both occasition I was gevin so many different answers and none of them could be explained. They told me I must go to a STANDARD BANK branch and reapply. I went to Uitenhage Branch and the person there said that I should apply for the full value od the house which is R 625000. I could then use R 70000 because if I needed extra money in the future i did not have to pay extra lawyers fees. It sounded good and did as I was avised. I heard nothing from them as my phone bill and anwsering box had no messages to phone them back. When I phond them I was again told that my application was denied. I am going to FNB which Can give me a mush better service. BAD SERVICE AND POOR STAFF AT STANDARD BANK SOUTH AFRICA
