Had a car port installed in Sept 2012 via insurance.3mths later the car port starting tearing away from the framework, called Std Bnk home insurance in March 2013, /-8 calls later eventually someone came out to check the damage without any notification. Anyways /-10 calls to Std Bnk thereafter no feedback on the inspection, almost 2mths later after phoning again, only to get told that the damange was due to: Heavy Winds" therefore we will have to put it a 2nd claim to get it sorted out. Really now!!! Where was I when Midrand had a Tsunami or Tornado within the last 6mths??? What happ to the workmanship & the quality of the product if I`m told that the damage was due to "Heavy winds" Wasnt aware that a car port was only supp to last 6mths!!! So am I supp to just accept this of an excuse & the pathetic service that I rec from Std Bnk??? No feedback, no call back only a dont care attitude!!! Yet my money is good enough, I want someone to contact me today & get this sorted out, I will not put in a 2nd claim I would like the product that I paid for and decent service from my insurance provider or is that not what I pay for at Std Bnk???
