I received a call yesterday from a lawyer saying that I have been handed over for collection to them for my Absa Cheque acc. I requested that this Account be closed last year around August already after I had terrible service from you repeatedly. Now, I have to go through all of this because someone did not do their job! This account was in fact blocked by you guys around the same time last year and I was told that since I am undergoing debt review I am not allowed to have a cheque account with you guys in the first place, fyi I opened this account after going under debt review, why did you open it in the first place? (funny how this isn't a problem with other banks?!?). I refuse to be held liable for the costs that have kept running on this account for R3 000 worth of bank fees and rewards fees!! I had moved all my debit orders, so it is definetely not that. I demand this be sorted out asap or I will take this further!! You have already lost me as a client last year to a proper bank (thank goodness)
