I lost my my bag in a taxi on Saturday at about 7am which contained all my belongings including my debit card, as soon as i had access to a phone at about 2pm i tried reporting the card to have it blocked however i would constantly run out of airtime, i then went to the bank on Monday for a card replacement to my surprise they had been transactions that had took place on my account, i then was advised by the bank consultant at the FNB main branch who's service was exceptional to fill in documents for a formal enquiry
I then again called the FNB contact centre, there i spoke to a lady whom i explained my frustration to and she requested that i gave her my id number so she could assist me, which i did she then opened up my profile and together we went through the transactions and i told her which ones i did not know and wanted to report
she asked me did anyone know my pin, i responded and said no, she then asked since i lost my bag and my id was inside did i write my pin anywhere on my id, i responded no however i told her it was my birth year swapped around, i mean who would figure that out, she then told me i exposed my pin, what the REALLY, so i asked for this?
