Eversing debit orders after deposits were made

Had a problem on the morning of the 4th, as there were some extra payemnts that went through my account on teh night of the 3rd, which pushed me past my limit by R1600.00. Subsequently went and paid the difference into the account on teh same day to teh total of R2000.00 - Debit orders were still returned. and the subsequent charges of R90 x 3. I accept my error, did not keep a closer eye, forgot that there was another payment going through etc. Contacted the call centre, they said I should call the complaints centre, they took down the details, said they would call, which tehy did. Today I ahd hte pleasure of speaking to Jason, who basically relayed the facts to me, as noted above, told me they would contact the branch and out of GOODWILL
see if they could reverse the debit order charges as ONCE OFF FAVOUR, I had to sort out my debit orders myself and I in short I could have contacted them before the time etc etc. I said I would have if I knew but to what extent do they protect their customers, no sms message warning of the imminent reversal... if not dealt with within a certain time frame etc. It was a mere 14 hours before i remedied it. THANKS NEDBANK keep the money
