One moment Yes, the other moment No, Huh?

Good day,
Round about two months ago I recieved a call from a certain Robert, advising me that I qualify for a consolidation loan, working out the terms, I declined.
On Monday I visited Africa Bank in Westgate, trying to apply for a consolidation loan, declined, so Robert in the outbound can approve, yet the branch decline, huh?
Then I decided to phone up the call centre to see if I can get help, or maybe to be put through to the outbound division, or something, just a well that is how it is answer, and no help at all (bear in mind that I have told the lady that Capitec is willing to offer me a consolidation loan) it was like water of a ducks back, like OK, it is ok if you go, we dont care
For me I dont understand it, one moment yes, the other no, or should I just pay off my existing loan, and never go back?
