In trying to obtain a 90-day statement on my cheque account, the teller first printed me a 30-day statement after I clearly asked for 3-months. I noticed this immediately and went back to get a re-print for 90-days. After leaving I realized that she had in fact printed me the statement of the another individual that was at the teller before me.
Bravo-I had now seen 90-days worth of confidential transactions of another party. The reason was that even though she had accessed my account, she had printed from another open window on her screen-twice, and as such I was charged R20 for someone elses statement.
I had to go back AGAIN to get a 90-day statement of my own account. AGAIN I was charged another R20. So essentially I was double charged and made to trek back to the bank 2 times just to get a simple account statement.
I want these charges for these statements reversed - Standard Bank has once again wasted both my time and my money.
