0n February 8th 2013 I submitted the claim documents for the Standard Bank Hospital insurance but up to now I have not been told as to what is the cause of the delay. I have tried taking it up with the Standard Bank internal complaints resolution centre but its absolutely useless and a total waste of time.
When i try to call its always one and the same thing that the person dealing with my file, is either on vacation leave or in a meeting. Even up to today no response whatsoever.
Standard Bank should just close its doors because I have had the same problem with my home insurance with them. The consultants are always clueless and arrogant and not helpful.
To those with insurance policies with Standard Bank, you better change to another insurer before its too late.
