Not following up as they suppose to

I open up a loan in 2011 last year in 2012 dec I changed my banking details and was on debt counseling, I removed myself in feb 2013 and emailed old mutual explaining my bank account is closed that's why not debits was received and I need to knw what the outstanding amount is so I can pay it, then the lady replied and said she can't help me as her records show I am still on debt conselling, then a month later my account was taken to the legal departpent and when I said I will pay they refuse to hear my part, but any ways the guy that's helping me says he will call me back and fails to keep to his promise for the past time I keep saying my banking details have changed and up till today no1 took the time to update the banking details, I wana know when they debit my old account they gona take me up future for they stupidity?
