No customer service

Been banking with FNB for a few years now and it seems that currently they are more focused on getting new customers than keeping current clients.
Sent an email regarding a home loan to [Email Removed] on the 16/04/2013 and still no reply. Kinda useless...
Secondly, my wife decided to downgrade her Cheque account to a Savings account on the 18th May 2013 at the Mall@Reds branch with Sam. He said that it would take 48 hours to get the new card and cut the Cheque card up. On Wednesday the 22nd May we went to collect the card and were told that there was no request done for the change of account. My wife went through the whole process again and was told that she would receive a call the following day. No call then or the Friday, so we went in to the branch on Saturday the 25th May to speak to a manager regarding this (Still without a card). We were told that there was no manager on duty that day and that the next manager in charge was on study leave. Ennie processed the whole thing again and were told we would receive a call today (28/05/2013) to let us know when to collect the card which obviously did not happen. How long could it take to be issued a card or get a call???
