Another 1st Electrical & Plumbing attended to an issue of our plugs tripping in December 2013 when we were away. Willem the electrician told us that our 3 phase earth leakage switch needed replacing; we had no way of verifying this so we agreed! We had to pay an amount of R4400 upfront and everything seemed to be working.
A few days later the same thing happened and we requested Willem come back and sort out the issue. Over this time we were flying home and asked him to contact our domestic worker directly to make arrangements, which he never did. We arrived home to the same problem we payed R4400 to be fixed so we had another electrician come out who isolated the issue to faulty bar fridges. He checked the old switch taken out by Willem and told us it seemed perfectly fine to him. We have requested Willem come out and explain why he did the above but have had no further communication from him 1o days later.
This business completely ripped us off and took advantage of the fact that we were away and had no way of verifying what he told us.. It seems like a bunch of running the business and I would never recommend them!!
