Ive never experienced such bad service. And the ignorance to boot just made it worse. I lodged a claim about three weeks ago for my car and outsurance declined the claim on grounds that the drivers licence was not valid. At which point Veejay had the nerve to actually tell me that foreigners with passports could not have a valid South African licence and that the licence was fake (Gee- much Oustsurance?). The Manager Trevern was just as useless. I went to the traffic department where i was told that the licence was valid. I even got a letter attesting to that from the South African Traffic Police department. And still that was not enough for the high and mighty outsurance. Eventually after four days it got to a point where I was on a three way call with Veejay and what he claims to be the traffic department. Seven minutes later it was "sorry mam" the licence is valid. They wasted a week! My car only went in for repairs after a WEEK. Now they want to take the courtesy car when it was because of their incompetent staff that it took a week for my car to go into repairs. False advertising outsurance-I am taking this story to the papers. You and you take hefty premiums!
