Terrible service

I received a SMS on Friday from NRB Risk solutions letting me know that I have an outstanding debt with webank that is 5 years old. I contacted Wesbank on friday 24th and they confirmed that the last communicatuon they send was an SMS on the 15/10/2008.
I spoke to a Juliana Pretorious on the 16 October 2008 - I gave her the Shortfall insurance campanies details.
Mrs Juliana Pretorious also said she would let me know what would be needed otherwise they would write off the balance. I have had the same cell phone number for 15 years and I havent receive an sms or phone call in 5 years and Now I get told I owe money & interest on this.
I cannot believe that company the size of Wesbank and a JSE Listed Group would run bad debts for over 5 years and not make any communication to their clients.
I have recently just applied for finance with you guys and I feel this has left a really bad impression of your company.
